DIRECTIONS

 

Woodside Rural Care Farm is about 8 miles south of Cambridge very close to Granta Park and the A11 going south :

(beware Sat Nav – most mislead!)

32, South Road, Gt Abington ( we are NOT in Abington village), Cambridge, CB21 6AU. 

 

BY CAR

Find “Granta Park” – its entrance is on a roundabout from which take the exit signposted A11 London and Nurseries and follow this road for about 3/4mile – South Road is the second small road on the left BEFORE you reach the main A11. Woodside is then the second property on the left after the long line of post and rail fencing – come through the double gates by the black boarded Studio building. 

To get to Granta Park:

From Cambridge: either come down the M11 and leave at junction 10 marked A505 Duxford and Newmarket, turn left towards Newmarket, stay on the A505 and follow signs to Granta Park – see above.

Or, follow A1307 out of Cambridge past Addenbrookes, keep on this road until major roundabout over the A11, take the exit to A505 Duxford and M11 but stay in left lane on A505, take first exit left marked Granta Park, short distance to roundabout – see above.

From London coming up the M11– take A11 Newmarket junction 9, follow road a few miles then filter to left for the A1307 to Cambridge and Haverhill, keep in right hand lane, go right round the roundabout and take the A505 inside lane marked Duxford, then take the first left marked Granta Park, short distance to roundabout – see above.

From Hertford area – it is best to come up the A10 then take the A505 towards Newmarket.  Go past  Duxford Air Station and continue on the A505 over the M11.  Follow that road straight on at the next two roundabouts.  About a mile after the second roundabout the road becomes a dual carriageway.  Just after that take left filter to Solopark and Granta Park – see above. 

From Bury St Edmunds: follow A14 past Newmarket towards Cambridge, filter left down A11 (signposted M11), filter on to A505 (signed to Duxford, M11North), take first exit to Granta Park – see above. 

 

BY BUS

Generally from Drummer Street or Addenbrookes to Gt Abington every 30 mins weekday, hourly weekends. Bus stop is good 25mins walk from us – ask us for directions or arrange collection. 

 

BY TRAIN

The Liverpool Street to Cambridge line: our nearest station is Whittlesford Parkway (approx 5 mins by care from us) – arrange for us to meet you, there are no taxis at the station.
