Operation Warriors Return – working with the MOD, BLESMA, Combat Stress, the NHS, the Local Authority and local schools to support the physical and mental health needs of our veterans and servicemen/women and tapping in to the invaluable ability of our veterans to operate as role models and mentors to those youngsters who have the need for such support in todays society.

Woodside Rural Care CIC is a social enterprise set in 6 acres of picturesque farmland in the heart of the Cambridgeshire countryside established in response to the needs of the community for the provision of  farm based social care activities for  various groups including, but not exclusively, the following:- 

  • Mental Health Clientswoodside2

  • Brain Trauma & Stroke Victims 

  • Disenfranchised Youth Groups

  • Special Needs & Learning Disabilities

  • Ex-Servicemen / women

 

HOW WE HELP….line

Woodside provides a number of facilities and  activities that benefit the psychological well being of those that  participate. By liaising closely with Care Managers, Social Workers, Parents and GP’s the staff at Woodside can ensure that any referral has the best opportunity to improve their condition as a result of their inclusion on the farm.

WHAT YOU CAN DO….
